Radio City Music Hall
Radio City Music Hall recently finished an unparalleled restoration - bringing back all the splendor of it's past while installing state-of-the-art technology for its future. The Music Hall cost approximately $8 million dollars to build in the early 1930s. The world-famous marquee is as long as a NYC block and consists of more than six miles of red and blue neon powered by 599 transformers; 50,000 pounds of steel and 40,000 pounds of aluminum. Everything in the Music Hall was designed and built on a grand scale. From the ingenious dynamics of the Great Stage to the 24-karat gold leaf of the Grand Foyer ceiling - the word is Spectacular!
